Press release of UN special rapporteur on the credibility of Cambodia’s 2023 national election
On 02 August 2023, The United Nations has issued a press release regarding UN special rapporteur’s statement addressing Cambodia’s 2023 national election on their official website.
According to the press release, UN special rapporteur express their concerns and remind the new Cambodia’s government to abide by its international human rights obligations and the Paris Peace Agreements and address an array of human rights violations – old and new – which impede sustainable and inclusive development in the country.
